Camelicious Solar PV Ground-mounted System

This project marks the beginning of a partnership between Camelicious and Total Solar Distributed Generation (DG) Middle East. The solar PV ground-mounted system installed by Total Solar DG Middle East uses state-of-the-art technology at its core to maximize energy production from the solar plant and cover over 80% of the camel farm’s electricity needs. Camelicious’s solar ground-mounted PV project is designed using a single-axis tracker system, equipped with 9,204 SunPower® Performance Series PV modules. The panels follow the sun in order to maximize the energy production leading to 15% higher energy yield compared to conventional systems. Additionally, solar modules are cleaned with a robotic machine that uses 75% less water than manual cleaning and maintains cell efficiency, making it a more sustainable maintenance solution.
